Bridal Party Jobs

This is something very often overlooked.

This is something very essential.

Part of your Bridal Party's role is to help you with certain tasks.  But no not the tasks you think!  Of course addressing your invitations and tying bows around your favors are very important tasks.  Of course.  But what I'm referring to are the day of tasks that you should delegate away so you do not have to worry about them!

Read more about having a stress free wedding here!

My advice would be to assign one job to each member of your bridal party.  Let them know ahead of time in a one on one conversation.  As in not while 4 shots in at your bachelorette party, where the job could be forgotten or not taken seriously.

Holiday Weddings?

In honor of 4th of July, let's discuss holiday weddings.

First, this can be a controversial subject, I would love to know your opinions on the topic!!

Ok, so should you have your wedding on a holiday weekend?

Pros
  • Save Money!!  Can have your date on a Sunday.  Cheaper costs and everyone still has the next day off!  Watch out though, some venues are wise to this and will charge you the same rate as Saturday night! Booo
  • People are in an festive, celebratory mood already!
  • Family and Friends usually plan on getting together anyways!
  • Can tie in a fun theme!
  • May be easier to get time off, since most people already have a 3 days weekend, guests may only need to take one more day off, if any!

To Do List

I'm a list girl.  I like lists for everything.  I have a great memory, but for some reason a list makes me feel more calm and organized, like I don't have to store everything in my brain!  It releases my brain from the stress of it!  ha ha

So today I'm starting a new series!  It's called the to do list.  Brides very often get overwhelmed by the mass amount of things to do in order to pull a wedding together.  I often think more of they're more overwhelmed by the feeling of not knowing what to do, or worrying they're going to miss something that the actual list and tasks themselves.  So here's what we're going to do about it.

I'm writing you an easy to do list, click here for more....

The world's most hilarious and disturbing wedding photos

I often tell me couples they should comprise a collage of their favorite wedding photos they've seen for inspiration for their big day.  These photos are NOT an example of that.  But they are hilarious! So enjoy!  Happy Sunday!

contemporary bride, bride tips, catering, wedding planning, wedding inspirations, newlyweds

When I saw this tip on Pinterest today, it totally inspired me to write this post.  I tell my brides everyday, give them a favor, they will

  2. ACTUALLY use,
  3. or skip them!
